This client wanted to be safeguarded with a radon mitigation system while having his home rebuilt because it was more of a long-term strategy. We were able to detect that his radon levels were high. He had some concerns about the sumps, which we were able to address by explaining how the installation would proceed. He really liked the design that we were able to draft for him. Every step was successful!

This homeowner's priority is his family's safety. He wanted to have a protection from radon exposure since after his radon testing his results turned to 13 which was considerably high. The team drafted the installation structure and they will need to remove some furniture such as a  big cabinet going to the plumbing in the main room. The homeowner agreed and he didn't see much affect on the home's aesthetic. He was really happy.

This is a new home being built and it has no basement. It's all slab on grade with 2 chambers. The Radon Defense Midwest team proposed and outlined several options to the owner and they decided to go with a passive system for now. The plan was to create an extraction point near the plumbing stack in the storage room going to the garage. The route is up into the attic above the garage.

This client had high radon levels of 8 pCi/L. It was a huge home, so the team planned. The initial draft came along with getting near the plumbing stack but means point and pipe will be visible. We advised not to core through the foundation to lessen any damages. The client's husband is experiencing constant chest pains, so they mitigated radon as soon as possible.
