The customer had levels of 6 and was worried that their radon levels would cause damage to their health. We were able to explain how radon really causes lung cancer at the end of the day. The customer had brief knowledge about it and really considered getting a radon mitigation system ever since. The crawlspace of the home was easy to get into and roam around in. There were some challenges with the structure but it was well-discussed with the client.
This homeowner was planning to get a radon mitigation system installed last year knowing that the area where he has high-level alerts from the news. He requested the installation to be near the water line in the corner and outside on the north wall of his home. We made this happen! The customer was very happy.
This client is an older woman and her son consulted the radon mitigation appointment for her. He lives there and uses the basement as his personal gym. The home was huge with lots of floor cracks. This was a long proposal process as the son was hesitant on how the process could go on. The team explained everything and how the execution will be. The client (mom) was really concerned about the floor cracks and how radon exposure might affect their health. They went on with the system as they tested their home, levels came out to 17. Everything was paid off ahead of time and everything went well.
Lance and the crew did a great job!
This radon mitigation installation was a two point system in one basement slab in the HVAC room by the plumbing stack. The homeowner is fully aware there is a chance her requested plan doesn't work out but gladly the team always has a back-up plan to run along with. The homeowner was happy how it turned out in the end.
