This was an old farmhouse that was very dear to the customer, they wanted to make sure they have healthy indoor air and got themselves their very own system!
This client calls in for our help since his radon levels were extremely high. He didn't realize that the signs were there such as allergens, heavy breathing or even the musty smell. His radon test returned with levels of 43, the team even took a 2nd try but turned out the same. We have explained to the client the process of installation and he fully understands what we have to do. He emphasized to have it on the basement since that's where his office is placed along with his kids' playroom. Everything went well and no problems arise.
This was a huge commercial project that was built from scratch. As a new construction, the owner wanted to make sure that the foundation is protected from any harmful gases like radon. He might be putting up the building for sale in the future and he did mention having a radon mitigation installed in a building is a fast buying factor. The installation went well and we didn't need any roof penetration which made the owner really happy!
This was a commercial project building intended for a day care school. The owner had a radon testing done since it was already becoming a standard for protection, he found out he had high levels and wanted to mitigate. He called Radon Defense Midwest for a free estimate and since it was within the budget range, he booked it right away!
This was one of the most challenging projects the team has faced. The client was an 80 year veterinarian and is very meticulous on every aspect of his home. The main point of him getting a radon mitigation system was for not himself, but for the future generations who would stay in the house. He also believed the resale value would be up because of this if ever his family decides on selling. He was also interested on the Breathe EZ filter for additional protection. His was simple and not that large but had some remodeling done. The team had lots of learning opportunities with this project as it took all day for the system to be perfectly installed.
