Radon Mitigation- Glenwood, IA

Andrew was able to get this exterior mitigation system installed for our customers as they were concerned about their radon levels in the home. They started out at a 8.10 radon reading and after this install they were well under the EPA recommendations. Way to go Andrew!

Radon Mitigation - Glenwood, IA

The team met with Dave and Deb who were very nice and talkative. They also have 2 friendly dogs. The basement is finished and they have a 3 season room, deck, patio. No sump pit. The design will be sub slab extraction point under stairs in back corner, route up and exit through rim joist under stairs and exit house next to door on back patio and in corner. Place fan with cover and muffler on wall tucked in corner, then up and around soffit. They lived in the home for 31 years and just recently tested and became aware of levels of 8.4. They found us by searching "radon installers in Omaha" and we were on top of the list. Amazing!

Improving Indoor Air Quality with a Crawl Space Radon Mitigation System

This home required a two-point radon mitigation system designed to reach both the basement and crawl space areas. With about three feet of headroom, access was the main challenge, but the homeowner’s family cleared the space beforehand to make installation smoother. One extraction point will be cored through the basement slab, with a second added in the crawl space beneath the bedrooms to help reduce humidity. The homeowner also chose an Aspen Air Purifier to further improve indoor air quality, showing a strong commitment to creating a healthier home environment.

Radon Mitigation and Crawlspace Sealing Transform an Older Home’s Air Quality and Comfort

After struggling for months with a nagging cough, a homeowner decided to investigate the air quality in her older home. Testing revealed elevated radon levels, especially near her bedroom. With a small basement, two deep crawlspaces, and cold floors, a comprehensive plan was set in motion. A three-point mitigation system was installed — two extraction points in the crawlspaces and one through the concrete slab. The slab-on-grade section, already vented, didn’t require additional work. Crawlspaces were sealed and insulated, addressing both radon and her chilly floors. Minor debris was removed with the help of dumpsters. Beyond radon reduction, cleaning the home’s ductwork brought noticeable improvements. Today, her home feels warmer, healthier, and finally provides the peace of mind she’d been hoping for.
