This nice family, after learning about the dangers of radon from a neighbor's unfortunate experience (she was diagnosed with lung cancer), reached out to Radon Defense Midwest to safeguard their own home and loved ones. They only lived a simple life and health is their top priority so upon learning that radon exposure can lead to cancer, they best decided to have their own radon mitigation system.
This client had a storage room in front of the house and wanted to have that checked as she thinks that is where debris and dirt build up is coming from. The team went and observed and found out that their crawlspace needed encapsulation service as it has a huge hole along with a lot of dirt from the years gone by. The size of the crawlspace was decent to work with and everything went well!
This client was planning to sell his house and the radon test showed high levels of radon gas. He contacted Radon Defense Midwest and they installed a mitigation system, reducing the radon levels and allowing her to sell his home safely and surely protected for the next owner.
This was a three-day commercial project and there were three (3) apartment units to mitigate. It was an exciting project for the team as the area was huge. Quite a new challenge but definitely got this! They had some research about the place before starting to draft the installation structure. There were basements so it's similar to a house installation. The team was able to install 3 radon mitigation systems and each system has a legend fan with 1 sub slab extraction point. Everything was successful as to how the client requested!
The client is moving to a work from home setup so she will be spending more time indoors. She wanted peace of mind or any protection against radon exposure. So she proceeded to get a radon mitigation system installed. Not only she's safe from the harmful gas, but she is also happy that this is already considered as her health investment.
