Perimeter Drain Depressurization system.
This home was in Woodland Park that had with a relatively new addition. While the new addition had a french drain around the perimeter of the exterior foundation, the original home had a walkout basement. We combined a french drain depressurization system with a sub-slab in order to treat both the original slab and new addition.
In December 2024, a homeowner in Woodland Park, CO, reached out after testing revealed high radon levels in their basement, a common issue for mountain homes with adjoining crawlspaces. Purple Mountain Radon was selected to address the problem with a sub-slab and sub-membrane system. The team installed a suction point in the mechanical room, connected it to the crawlspace suction point, and positioned the radon fan’s exit point above the window. A disconnect switch was conveniently added near the fan for easy access. This solution effectively reduced radon levels, ensuring a safer living environment. If you're concerned about radon in your home, Purple Mountain Radon can help lower your risk with customized solutions.
