This homeowner contacted Olympic Restoration Systems after several pipes burst in his home, leading to water and mold damage. After receiving confirmation of mold from a licensed mold inspector (which was from another company per state laws), one of our licensed mold remediators and Restoration Specialists, Darrin, provided a free estimate for the work to be done at the home. The homeowner accepted the proposal and our Production Team began removing all mold and water damaged property, while preserving any structures that were still usable. Cleaned, etched, and dried walls to assure the product can fully penetrate the concrete. Applied Liquid Rubber Base to the seam where the wall meets the floor, along with filling any cracks. Sealed the full length of the wall, along with up the wall and two feet out on the floor with Permaflex to prevent future water intrusion.
This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems regarding the crawl space encapsulation that they had done by another company that is no longer providing this service but is honoring the extended warranty that the customer had purchased when they had this service provided. The customer could not hear the sump pump working so went to check to see if it was on and working. This is when she found that there was water under the liner. The customer found that the water was pooling under the liner in the crawl space. She said that there was so much water under the liner that it felt like a waterbed.
Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted by the company that was honoring their warranty with the customer. The customer called Olympic Restoration Systems shortly after, explaining what was happening in her crawl space. Olympic Restoration Systems sent a Specialist for an assessment of their crawl space. After the visit to the property and we proposed our quote to the company honoring the warranty on this customers crawl space encapsulation. They proceeded with a new sump pump installation for their customers crawl space.
