This basement had been finished years prior, and due to local construction, the foundation shifted and moisture began to enter. The drywall had mold growing, and the floor would have pooling water after the rains. To fix this, we had to demo the space, add in a WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, ThermalDry radiant wall barrier, and then our finishing crew came back in to refinish the space.
This home had a waterproof paint that was painted on, and the space was than finished. These types of paints can last a short while, but building water pressure behind it will eventually make the paint bubble and crack, allowing water though. The homeowner discovered this when they had their drywall become mushy in spots. They had the drywall removed where it was against the foundation. They would need a solution before refinishing in these places. They called up John's Waterproofing and we did a full interior perimeter drain system, with leech lines, a TripleSafe sump pump, ThermalDry radiant barrier, and a SaniDry dehumidifier.
This homes basement was damp and musty for most of the year. Tired of dealing with reoccurring mold and mildew issues they called upon John's Waterproofing. We set them up with a full interior WaterGuard drain system, TripleSafe sump pump, BrightWall paneling, and a Dehumidifier.
A trench was dug in this basement to direct the water to the pump.
When you pair brightwall with our waterproofing system you get a nice dry looking basement!
