Cindy has been living in her Holland Patent, NY home for 20 years.  Recently, she has become increasingly concerned over the structural integrity of her home as the metal support beams in her garage are significantly rusted.  As her bedroom is located above the garage and consequently held up by the beams, Cindy wanted to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and decided to contact Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs.  After an initial inspection, our Design Specialist determined that the SmartJack system would be best suited to help repair the damaged beams. 

The SmartJack system provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space.  Once installed, SmartJack support posts can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames.  SmartJacks can support loads of more than 60,000 lbs and are made of galvanized steel for corrosion resistance.  With the SmartJack system in place, Cindy can have the peace of mind that her home is permanently stabilized. 

Carol from Watertown, NY had Woodford Bros., Inc. replace part of her foundation that was old and no longer stabilizing her home. Woodford Bros., Inc. replaced the old foundation and laid new cement blocks. 

Kathleen has a 100 year old farmhouse in Remsen, NY. Her floors were uneven for years and seemed to be getting worse. Cracks started showing up in the drywall, windows were not closing properly and she could feel it every time she walked through her kitchen.

The apron of the garage on this Herkimer, NY home was built with decorative stamped concrete slabs. The home owner always knew it was cracked and settling but it was getting worse. He found Woodford Brothers as the result of a web search for concrete repair. He scheduled his free estimate which led to expert Design Specialist, Joe, to pay a visit to the home to assess the situation. Joe thoroughly measured and inspected the driveway coming up with the solution to fix the problem once and for all and present his findings on the same day. Joe took his time in explaining exactly what the problem was, how we would fix it and how much it would cost. They agreed on the final plan and scheduled the installation. The day of installation the home owner was very pleased with his experience with the crew, led by Richard. They made quick work of installing the PolyLevel and returned the slabs back to their original positions. Now the home owner has peace of mind that his concrete worries are solved for good.
