Wow now this is a before and after... and this really only scratches the surface of what we did for this foundation to last for years to come.

The basement of an Albion, NY home built in 1887 was full of jack posts that were failing. The beams were undersized, the bases of the posts were settling and there simply was not enough reliable support for the flooring system. Our expert Design Specialist designed a way to apply our smart Jack system to bring peace of mind to the home owner. Now the post and beams responsible for carrying the weight of the home will last under warranty since they are engineered to hold the weight but they are galvanized steel so they won't rust or bend like the old posts and beams. 

Before tackling home renovations, a homeowner in Albion, NY, noticed their crawl space needed some serious help to ensure their home's structural integrity. As you can see in the before photo, the old support posts were looking worse for wear. Using our SmartJack system, pictured in the after photo, we not only stabilized the home but also made sure it was ready to support future renovations. This over 100-year-old home in Lima had floors that began to sag over time. Woodford Brothers used the Smart Jack system to fix the problem. This SmartJack system is complete with a SmartJack Beam. All materials are galvanized steel so that they will not degrade over time.  The base for the SmartJacks can each hold up to 50,000 pounds. The Jacks, the base, and the beam are so strong that they can be used to lift floors back up. Now the homeowner has peace of mind that their flooring system is repaired permanently.
