Clean usable space, how much square footage could you add to your home?
Mary has been living in her Syracuse, NY home for over 11 years. Over the past few years, she has begun seeing issues with water getting into her basement, especially during hard rainfall. Worried about mold and other potential problems from the wet basement, Mary decided to contact Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. After an inspection of the space, our Design Specialist suggested the installation of multiple systems including WaterGuard, TripleSafe, CleanSpace, and the SaniDry Sedona.
WaterGuard is a French drain system designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. The system then collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to the sump pump. In turn, the TripleSafe Sump Pump provides the ultimate protection for wet basements, pumping 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery. Next, the CleanSpace Wall System protects against mold growth while giving the basement a clean appearance. Finally, the SaniDry Sedona, a high-performance dehumidifier and air filtration system will be installed to help eliminate damp, musty odors by drying and filtering the air. With these systems installed, Mary can rest assured that her basement is permanently waterproofed and protected against mold growth and further issues.
Rachel and Karl recently purchased a home in Syracuse, NY. They plan to stay in this home for many years to come. In order to gain peace of mind regarding their new basement, they decided to schedule a free estimate with Woodford Brothers. Design Specialist, Andrew, provided a proposal with options to address their concerns. Our installation crew, led by James, installed Waterguard, a TripleSafe Sump, in order to keep their basement floors dry, and a Sanidry Sedona to keep the air in their home healthy. They also installed Carbon Armor straps to one of the walls that was bowing in. Now Rachel and Karl have peace of mind that their basement will stay dry and the foundation wall is stable for good.
