This family was concerned with their radon levels, mainly because their daughter was living in the lower section of the home. They wished to install a radon mitigation system in order to lower the radon levels, giving them peace of mind that their family would be safe. Installation of the system took less than one day, and the levels are effectively below the recommended 4.0 pCi/l.

Radon Mitigation System Arlington, MA

This homeowner in Arlington, Massachusetts needed a Radon Mitigation System. They had gotten a radon test done in 2003 and the levels came back at 14 and 16 pCi/l. The pCi/l should be around 4.0 or below.

Erickson Foundation Supportworks, Design Specialist John Prince, was able to come to the homeowner's house and design a radon system for them. After designing a radon system, a team lead, Scott Crandall comes in with their team and installed the radon system in the home. Post-installation, the team checks that everything is working as it should and double-checks that the radon levels have lowered to below 4.0 pCi/l.

The pictures show what the exterior of the house looked like before and after the radon system was installed.

Now that the homeowner has their radon levels back to normal they are now able to do further work in their basement.
