This is a multi family facility located in Irving, TX. The owner suspected mold growth throughout the facility, so they had a licensed mold tester confirm. Once mold was confirmed, the licensed mold tester wrote a mold protocol and the owner sent the protocol to us. Olympic Restoration Systems has multiple licensed mold remediators within our team, and we sent our first available, Ross, to the property for a free mold removal quote. After assessing the damage and receiving the mold protocol, Ross prepared a free mold removal estimate for the owner. The owner accepted and proceeded with mold remediation from Olympic Restoration Systems.
Our production team completed the mold remediation, which included setting up containment, placing air scrubbers, HEPA vaccuuming, removing moldy drywall, flooring, and cabinets, and wiping down surfaces with an EPA approved antimicrobial per the mold protocol.
This homeowner called after she received confirmation of mold growth and a mold protocol from a licensed mold inspector. She contacted Olympic Restoration Systems for licensed mold remediation. One of our System Designs Specialists, Ross, provided her with a free mold remediation estimate, and she was impressed with the pricing and work he offered. She proceeded with the mold remediation with our Production team, which included removing all mold-damaged drywall, ceiling, and flooring while utilizing containment and HEPA vacuums to ensure optimal air quality throughout the rest of the home. These pictures show before and after the mold remediation on the ceiling in the kitchen. Before, you can see where water damage led to mold growth, creating a large stain. After, you can see where the Production Team carefully removed the damaged ceiling, and where they sealed cabinets and other openings to keep mold from circulating in the home during the mold remediation process.
This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems because they needed to get a professional opinion for controlling the humidity problem that they were having in their crawl space. They wanted the best solution between installing a vapor barrier and/or adding insulation in the crawl space. They had noticed there was an extremely high amount of moisture in their crawl space that was causing damage to their hardwood floors that they installed.
They contacted Olympic Restoration Systems for an assessment of their home, and for a quote. We scheduled an appointment for them with our 1st available appointment. An Olympic Restoration Systems Specialist visited the property, completed an assessment, then proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the crawl space encapsulation, an HVAC duct cleaning, and an air cleaner installation with Olympic Restoration Systems for their home.
A customer found Mold in Upstairs Game Room, located in the cabinet under a sink, and was informed it was caused by a leak and had contaminated the whole area. We were contacted to remove and dispose of all water and mold affected drywall, insulation, carpet, pad, tack stripe, and cabinets.
Our team was able to quickly come in and assist in solving the situation. A containment barrier was installed to quarantine the impacted area. We removed the cabinet, pulled back some carpet, and disposed of any exposed pieces that we were unable to salvage. Next, Negative Air Scrubbers were installed in the quarantine area, to help filter ambient mold particles from the air, and lower spore count. HEPA Vacuuming was also performed to further clean the area, and an Anti-Microbial Gel Paint was used on the remaining surface area to finish the process. After we were done, a Licensed Mold Inspector was called in to test the area again, and it was deemed successful and the remediation process was cleared.
