This homeowner checked under their home and found the crawlspace a mess. They knew an odd odor was in their home, and after looking online, learned that the crawlspace could be the reason why. They wanted their air and home to be dry and healthy, so they decided it was time to get a crawlspace encapsulation. 

This home had a water issue in the crawlspace. The water moisture led to falling fiberglass, pools of water on the old vapor barrier, and a general unhealthy space. To address this with a solution, we installed a full encapsulation. 

This homes crawl space had been messed up from rodents. After having a pest company out to help, they wanted to upgrade this space and keep rodents from coming into this space again. For this they called upon John's Waterproofing to learn about our encapsulation. This system as a whole, will deter critters from getting in the crawl space, lower heating and cooling costs, and keep your home dry and healthy! 

Our home owners knew they had some water under their house when they called our office, but they had no idea the extent of their water issue. When our inspector Bob went through his inspection and showed them the photos they were shocked to see close to 4" of water hiding under the black visqueen. The thin black plastic had floated on top effectively hiding the severity of the problem. 

We removed all the old fallen insulation and installed cleanspace with spray foam insulation, this homeowner will never have to worry about having a wet mess like that ever again!
