This homes crawlspace had been cleared of critters, but a mess of debris was left over. The homeowners wanted to keep critters from coming back and didn't want the debris to leave their air quality low, so they called up John's Waterproofing for a full encapsulation.
John's Waterproofing came to this home in Fall Creek to make it healthy and energy efficient. Our solution for this crawlspace was our CleanSpace encapsulation system. This 20-mil thick vapor barrier significantly outperforms the easy to tear 6-mil liners that are commonly used as vapor barriers. CleanSpace can slow or block harmful gasses such as radon and protects the home from dust and allergens while also waterproofing the crawlspace. It acts as an insulation barrier as well and makes a difference of 10 degrees compared to common vapor barriers.
This crawlspace was damp, to say the least. During the initial inspection, there was mud in some areas and tiny puddles. When our crew began digging to install the trench drain it became apparent just how much water the soil was holding. Our homeowner went all out and has not had a water issue since.
This crawlspace had a mess of insulation and debris. Water has left mineral stains along the foundation walls and the homeowners knew they needed a solution. To assist we fully cleaned out the space and installed a Crawlspace Encapsulation System.
This home's crawlspace had standing water over their old vapor barrier. To address the issue we removed the old vapor barrier and installed a drainage system, sump pump, and CleanSpace vapor barrier.
