A homeowner in Concord, Massachusetts, had lived in their home since 2012. After moving into the home they noticed that there was water seeping into their basement. Over the next 10+ years, they noticed the seeping get worse. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their home. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners inspected their home and recommended a solution to them to prevent further seepage. We recommended installing a perimeter drainage system in their home.
Our installation team arrived at the home and began by chipping out concrete around the perimeter of the basement so we could install our perimeter drainage and sump pump into the basement to collect any water. Then we plumbed the sump pump to the exterior of the home. On the outside of the home we installed our IceGuard and discharge line to carry water away from the foundation.

Our installation team installed 140 feet of WaterGuard, a TripleSafe, 2 IceGuards, and 10 feet of Exterior Drainage. This system will protect the basement from water penetrating the basement and causing a flood. The system will collect that water and pump it out and away from the foundation.

This homeowner in Rumney, New Hampshire, has lived in their home for 30 years. For the past 10 years, they have seen water collecting at the bottom of the bulkhead stairs. The water is seeping through the bulkhead and down the stairs. The homeowners called EFS for us to look at the bulkhead and find a solution for them. Our specialist met with the homeowner and inspected the bulkhead. After looking at the bulkheads' condition we recommend installing a new bulkhead and sealing it to make sure no water can seep into the basement.
Our installation team ordered a new bulkhead and waited for it to be delivered. Once in our hands, we brought it to the home and removed the old leaky bulkhead door. Next, we built it and installed the new bulkhead. We made sure to waterproof around the bulkhead to ensure no water can penetrate the basement.
The homeowners were very pleased with the installation of their new bulkhead door.
