An autobody shop in Worcester, MA had been experiencing issues with cars entering and exiting the bays due to sinking concrete. Voids underneath the concrete had caused the concrete to sink, creating an uneven surface. This business reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions to lift and stabilize the concrete.
Our Design Specialist recommended installing PolyLevel concrete leveling and NexusPro joint repair. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that is injected underneath the concrete to fill the voids and almost instantly create a level surface. This is a quick and permanent solution that costs a fraction of installing new concrete. Once the PolyLevel lifted the concrete, NexusPro was used to seal the joints between the concrete. NexusPro prevents water from invading the soil underneath the concrete, preventing concrete cracks or becoming uneven. It is resistant to UV rays to prevent the sealant from cracking, foaming, or drying.
With the concrete now lifted to its original placement, both employees and customers can rejoice that cars can easily make their way in and out of the bays.
This homeowner in Ashby, MA was concerned with the concrete walkway leading up to the entrance of their house. The walkway was uneven and full of trip hazards due to the uneven concrete. Over the years, as water eroded away the soils under the slabs, voids formed, and the concrete began to sink.
Our team proposed lifting the sunken areas with PolyLevel, a polyurethane based foam product, which effectively fills all the voids beneath the concrete and lifts it to the desired location. Demolishing and replacing this concrete walkway would be expensive and take several days to complete. With PolyLevel, our team left behind no mess, finished in a single day, and saved the homeowner money while delivering with a great solution.
The trip hazards are now gone, and they have peace of mind that guests visiting their home will be safe while walking up to the front door.
