A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire, had built a shed in their backyard about 3 years ago. The shed stores their BMW sports car and the soil under the slab has eroded. They recommended installing Helical Piers and PolyLevel under the slab to stabilize and fill the void. Our team installed the project as designed and the team was able to level the slab and fill the voids so the homeowner could store their car in the shed again.
A new owner of an old home in Manchester, New Hampshire, had just moved in this summer and was planning on using the basement for storage. The basement was a combination of dirt and concrete. They were placing items down there while they were moving in and noticed the floors were being held by a few different types of supports. (lally columns, brick supports, 4x4s, and 6x6s) The homeowners could see that additional supports were installed over time. To make sure that their floor system was fully supported they called EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners looked at the floor system and determined that a few sections of the basement weren't fully supported. We recommended installing 3 SmartJacks and a supplemental beam into the basement to stabilize the floor system.
