Radon Mitigation System Installation in Chelmsford, MA

Upon detecting radon gas in their home, a family in Chelmsford, MA realized the necessity of installing a radon mitigation system to protect their property from this hazardous substance. Our Customer Care team scheduled an appointment for System Design Specialist Mark Proctor to visit the residence and determine the optimal installation strategy for the radon system. Upon hearing our proposal, they expressed enthusiasm about moving forward with the installation. The installation team, headed by Cameron Hughes, began by creating an extraction point in the foundation floor. PVC pipes were then fitted from the extraction point, running along the foundation wall and out of the basement. A fan was attached to the pipes outside, effectively removing radon from the home. The "after" photo shows the pipes extending above the roofline, which prevents radon exposure within the home. The manometer installed in the basement tracks any fluctuations in radon levels, guaranteeing the home's safety. The family can now rest assured that their entire home, not just the basement, is a secure environment.
