Before, this Boston home battled relentless basement moisture, despite a dehumidifier's efforts, exacerbated by its fieldstone foundation. The SaniDry Sedona was our chosen warrior. As you can see in the after photo, we transformed this damp and discouraging space into a dry, welcoming environment. A homeowner in Hollis, New Hampshire was experiencing high humidity in the house, specifically in the basement. This has led to wooden items deteriorating and minimal mold, which has created a musty odor. Looking to turn the basement into a playroom for the kids, this homeowner reached out to us for a permanent solution.

Our Design Specialist, Josh Phillips, recommended installing SilverGlo wall insulation, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SilverGlo was installed to the crawl space to provide R-11 insulation. CleanSpace was installed to prevent moisture in the crawl space. By eliminating moisture from the crawl space, the threat of high humidity, wood rot, and insects vanishes. Lastly, the SaniDry Sedona was installed in the basement to create a comfortable living space. Mold spores and other toxins are removed, creating a dry and healthy environment.

With these systems in place, the homeowner can confidently transform the basement into a playroom with peace of mind that it will remain dry and temperate.
