This homeowner in Andover, Massachusetts, has lived in their home for over 20 years and has always seen the presence of water in their basement. This year they saw a lot of water seep into the basement. It was so much water that the floors in their finished basement were ruined. They called EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner and inspected the basement for potential solutions. After looking at the basement we recommended utilizing a full perimeter drainage system to prevent water from seeping into the basement and then using our Elite Plank to cover the floor in the finished section of the basement. This floor allows water to flow underneath it and it looks like real hardwood.
Our installation team installed the perimeter drainage system around the entire perimeter of the basement and then installed the Elite Plank in the finished section.
The homeowner was very happy with the results of the project.

A homeowner in Andover, Massachusetts was not satisfied with the state of their concrete deck. The concrete was cracked and unlevel. Looking to revitalize their deck, they reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Our Design Specialist, Tom Armano, recommended installing PolyLevel and NexusPro to restore the concrete. Our installation crew, led by Nick Melo, injected PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam, underneath the concrete slab. This filled voids underneath the concrete, instantly lifting and stabilizing it. After our team leveled the concrete, NexusPro was applied to joints and cracks. This prevents settling and further cracking in the future.
Now that the concrete is repaired, the deck has been brought back to life. Tripping hazards have been eliminated, and the deck looks great! The deck is going to look even better when our crew returns to apply DecoShield, a translucent tinted concrete sealer.
