Mitch is a very nice guy that retired back in May. His wife still works and she got home as I had just gone over pricing options. Mitch spends quite a bit of time in the basement so was concerned with radon levels of 9.6. I sold a job to his neighbor Keegan a while back and he saw my vehicle and took down the info. Numerous neighbors have had systems installed. Extraction point in back corner of house in a finished space. Core through wall and exit on side corner of house. Mitch has a lot of allergies and ducts haven't been cleaned before so was glad to have us do that. Sold option 2, but he was wanting option 3 originally with Aspen and BEZ. In the end they both said it was up to what the other wanted and agreed upon option 2 but said they may add things later. They were satisfied with the results.
This was very nice lady with lots of stories to tell. You wouldn't get bored in the job. She was very helpful upon installation and came in handy with her extra hands when needed. She even offered us yummy sandwiches for lunch. Her home was neat and tidy, you can tell she cleans a lot. She wanted her own radon mitigation system because her brother got one and it helped his breathing. Everything went well.
This was newly built commercial location intended for a school with a single classroom - mainly focused on kids. The owners wanted to make sure that every protection from harmful gases or pollutants are away from the students. A radon mitigation system was on top of their list. They were fully aware on how the radon levels go in the area so made sure they contacted Radon Defense Midwest for this installation!
This client was in the construction industry too, so he definitely understands the concept of radon mitigation. He called professional help as he plans to replace the pump and maybe add a battery back-up just for safety purposes. Everything went well with the installation!
Ryan and his family moved in a few months ago at this modern home and learned that radon levels were high at 18 so they have health concerns. Ryan works from home and in the IT industry. His main concern was for his family's protection and no further symptoms due to exposure. The installation began with the crawlspace under the sun room and added a Breathe EZ ERV along. He was happy with the outcome.
