At a property in Sturgis, MI, the homeowners were concerned about elevated radon levels and turned to ALS Radon & Environmental, Inc. for expert mitigation. The project involved installing two radon extraction points and sealing the sump pump pit to address radon intrusion effectively. By creating negative pressure beneath the main basement slab and elevated crawlspace, the system ensures radon is safely drawn out and vented above the roofline, reducing the risk to occupants.
This before/after photo detials a radon extraction point along with sealing of the sump pump pit. We use a domed cover for the pit with a window so you can see inside.
Below is an example of an exterior aesthetic package along with an extended warranty.

Check out this radon extraction point. It is tucked away in the corner of the home near the well out of the way of the rest of the basement.
