ALS Property Associates installed a radon reduction system at a residential property in Kalamazoo, MI. A sub-slab depressurization radon system was used. Schedule 40 piping was run from the basement to the side exterior of the property where radon fan was installed and vented above the roof line.

Here is a before/after photo of the exterior portion of a radon mitigation system installed in Kalamazoo, MI. This includes our radon system muffler (to dampen noise) and our 10-year warranty. We only use Festa radon fans, schedule 40 piping, and high quality parts. 

This is a good example of an exterior radon fan with a moisture water guard (Extended 10 year warranty). The schedule 40 PVC vent piping was ran to the top of the second story, then around and above the gutter safely venting the radon gas above the home. The homeowner was happy we were able to place the radon fan and vent piping inconspicuously in the rear corner out of site. The fan and piping blend in well against the white siding of the home. 

We were able to strategically place the suction point of this radon mitigation system in a perfect location. We located it near the main stack which is a potential entry point and will also help the system communicate with other areas of the basement slab. 

Following the mold remediation of this customers basement we proceeded and painted the block foundation walls with an antimicrobial water proofing masonry coating.
