A property owner in Phippsburg, Maine, preparing to rent out their home, contacted Maine Radon after a radon test showed a level of 7.9 pCi/L. The client, who was managing the project remotely from Florida, requested that the radon mitigation system be installed in the rear right corner of the home, as viewed from the driveway. To accommodate this, our team accessed the property using a key left in a lockbox and installed the system near the southwest corner, where an electric outlet had already been set up. The system was positioned to exit on the south wall, close to the southwest corner, as the client preferred. This careful installation helped reduce the radon levels, making the property safer for future tenants.
