Radon gas, a silent threat lurking in basements, can pose serious health risks and even impact your home's resale value. The good news? Investing in radon mitigation now can save you from expensive medical bills and potential losses down the road.
A Parsonsfield, Maine homeowner understood this well. After a radon test revealed concerning levels (27.2 pCi/L, significantly exceeding the EPA's action level of 4 pCi/L), they contacted Maine Radon & Water Treatment to improve their indoor air quality.
Our team conducted a thorough assessment of the homeowner's property, focusing on identifying the ideal location for the mitigation system. Fortunately, the homeowner was open to our recommendations. The wet sand and clay foundation presented a unique challenge, but our expertise ensured an effective solution.
Our skilled technicians then expertly installed the radon mitigation system, including the radon pipe, manometer, and radon fan. The homeowner's satisfaction with the outcome is a testament to our commitment to quality service.
