Robert's radon mitigation project requires attention as the initial test revealed a level of 9.6 pCi/L, exceeding the EPA's recommended action level of 4 pCi/L. To address this concern, we'll be installing a mitigation system that meets Robert's preferences. The system will be located in the laundry room with the discharge pipe exiting through the back wall, minimizing its footprint within the space. An existing electrical outlet in the laundry room will be used to power the system, with an additional exterior outlet available if needed. Robert has opted for a one-sided installation initially. To ensure effectiveness on both sides, we'll provide him with two radon test kits for retesting after the initial installation is complete.
