Radon is the decay of the element radium, and is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and radioactive. This gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Radon is found everywhere, and when it seeps into our homes, it continues to accumulate. One case in a home in Woodhull, IL, Radon levels were between 19 and 29 pCi/L. A mitigation system was installed into the concrete basement slab to draw the gas out from under the home. The specialists at MidAmerica Basement Systems have now helped provide the home with a safer breathing environment.

Trent and his family now have a home with safer air to breathe.
