Leaking Floor Damages Finished Basement in Altona, IL

Trevor had recently purchased a home with a finished basement, and he was very glad to know that the basement had a sump pump, or so he thought. After a large rain, he began to notice a wet floor, which was very concerning because he thought the sump pump had failed. During inspection, it was announced that the sump was properly working, but water was still seeping up through the floor, causing damage to the finished basement. It was offered to have WaterGuard installed to keep water from surfacing. Once collected in the WaterGuard, water would be properly directed to the sump pump to be discharged.
