When Jeffery found out that his finished basement was ruined by moisture, he was afraid to finish it again. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have his basement waterproofed. After the area was waterproofed, Jeffery was informed about the waterproof and mold-resistant basement finishing products offered by the company. ZenWall Insulated Panels are durable and washable. Using a foil backing, dampness and humidity will not affect the panels, and will make the basement more energy efficient. Now Jeffery can trust finishing his basement with a waterproofing system, and wall paneling that is meant for damp and moist environments.
Emily had an older home with a limestone foundation. During heavy rains, water would seep in through the walls. She didn’t think there was a way to fix her leaking walls until her friend recommended MidAmerica Basement Systems. She was offered a CleanSpace Wall system to create a vapor barrier from the leaking walls. Water would then properly trickle down the wall and into a WaterGuard system to be redirected to a TripleSafe sump. Emily no longer finds visible water after it rains, in her basement.
David was having issues with water seeping in through the wall and floor joints of his basement and decided to reach out to MidAmerica Basement Systems. He was offered a waterproofing system that used WaterGuard and CleanSpace Liner. WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement to collect the seeping water along the joints. Due to the walls and floor being poured as a whole, weep holes were drilled into the walls to allow for water to come in, and CleanSpace Liner was installed over top the holes. CleanSpace acts a moisture barrier, aiding in the collecting of water to redirect the water to the WaterGuard. Water now properly flows towards the sump pump to be discharged out to the basement, leaking the area dry.
Jessica kept having issues with water seeping into her basement and causing mold growth. She contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have her issue properly addressed. After inspection, Jessica was offered a waterproofing system to help keep her basement dry, and help prevent future mold growth. CleanSpace Liner was place along the bottom half of the walls to prevent excess moisture and WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement. Once water is collected in the WaterGuard, it is then redirected to a TripleSafe sump to be discharged back out of the home.
Mark and Lenora G., La Moille, IL homeowners, were suffering from frequent water intrusion at the base of their basement walls. They called MidAmerica Basement Systems, and met with design specialist Dan Garner who helped them determine the problem, and the solution. Now, their basement is very dry, and they are very happy! Part of their solution included the addition of the TripleSafe Sump Pump, pictured here.
