After meeting with Mike Banks, they had a system installed to protect them from further water damage, including WaterGuard, CleanSpace and a TripleSafe Sump Pump. 

Melissa was having issue with high moisture levels in her basement. When she contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems in thought that she needed a waterproofing system, she was told otherwise. The large amounts of moisture were coming from her untreated crawlspace. The dirt ground was allowing for moisture to seep into her basement, leaving the area damp and musty smelling.
