New Radon mitigation system installed in a home on the market. 

Homeowner Kelly recently purchased her townhome and was looking to do upgrade somethings in her home. She thought it was important to have a radon mitigation system installed in her home to keep it safe. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States and she wanted to make sure that she and her home was safe. 

These Eldridge homeowners were concerned about the amount of radon gas in their home. They contacted the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems, and got in touch with design specialist Clayton Spinler. Along with the new radon mitigation system, the homeowners knew it was wise to keep the gasses out with sealed lids for their sump pumps. The homeowners are happy to contain the toxic gasses.

Recent new homeowner tested their home for radon and came back positive, especially in their daughter’s room. Homeowner was very concerned about their daughter’s safety, so they gave MidAmerica Basement Systems a call to help solve their problem.  Bill Willcox had the pleasure of installing our Radon Mitigation system to help minimize the amount of radon in the home.

Trisha had recently purchased a radon test kit to check the levels in her home. When she received her results, she was in shock. Her levels were more than double the recommended 4.0 pCi/L standards set by the EPA. She quickly reached out to the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems. She was offered a radon mitigation system to help depressurize the gas that gets trapped under the home’s foundation, and filters it through a Breathe EZ Air Filter. After Trisha preformed her post radon test, levels came back well under the recommendation, leaving it safer for her to breathe the air in her home.
